After training together for months, we drew Stuttgart Valley Rollergirlz and the mighty London Rollergirls themselves to play in the heats - a daunting prospect for a team comprising a majority of bout virgins.
But on the day, we put our nerves aside and played our hearts out, scoring 11 points to LRG's 202 (they DID go on to win the tournament you know!) and 46 to SVRG's 137.
We had the time of our lives, not just on the day but also training with our lovely friends from Romsey and met so many awesome ladies from all over the UK and Europe. It was truly a landmark in UK Roller Derby history - great praise and thanks must go to LRG for organising and hosting the event, and of course congratulations on winning it!
