BRG are One Year Old!

10th March 2009 was the first ever BRG training session, so to mark our first anniversary we invited some of our Derby Friends to have a mixed scrimmage, followed by the first ever BRG Fundraiser! As well as running a newbie track for those not quite ready for full contact, we played three bouts with mixed teams, expertly head reffed by Captain Carnage from Romsey Town Rollerbilles (thanks Carnage!) Final scores were: Vampires 29 Zombies 57 Zombies 45 Werewolves 50 Werewolves 38 Vampires 30 And the Penalty Queen was the very naughty Frightening Bolt from LRR - later seen shaking her golden booty on the dance floor :-D Then it was all down to Esquires for food, drink, dancing, a derby wedding, T-shirts, a raffle, Burlesque, team colour nipple tassles, more drink, stickers and badges, a bit more food and of course... beer pong! Massive thanks to all the skaters who travelled to scrim, all the NSOs, refs, volunteers, everyone that made delicious buffet goodies, Kraig for bartending, Chloe for DJing, Roxy Twirls and P-Vert for marrying Mong and Zombie and the following entertainment, anyone that bought merch or raffle tickets and Esquires, for having us!
