We are BRG!
Formed in March 2009 , Bedfordshire Rollergirls are a group of men and women who first and foremost enjoy rollerskating! It's great fun, keeps you fit, and with the recent resurgence of Roller Derby, is fast becoming a great way to meet and join a whole community of likeminded individuals.
We welcome anyone interested in skating, regardless of age, race, size or sex, although you must be over 18. Even if you haven't skated since you were little, our basic skills coaches can get you rolling with one-on-one guidance. And if you decide Roller Derby isn't for you, why not learn to be an on-skates ref?
Our Training Schedule: Saturdays 10.30 am - 1.30 pm at Pilgrim Sports Hall, Bedford. All welcome - practise will be focussed on new and intermediate skaters. Wednesdays 7pm-9pm at Pilgrim Sports Hall, Bedford Advanced only Thursdays 7.00pm - 9.30pm at Luton Sixth Form College All Welcome

You will need...
Skates - Roller Derby is played on quad skates Helmet Kneepads Elbow pads Wrist guards Gum Shield - if you want to play full contact Roller Derby. The good news is, we can lend you all of the above at first (apart from eth gum shields!) so don't spend any money until you're sure you want to join us.
